Bath, brush out & blow drying (for the short haired dogs)
Starts from €25 this includes nail clipping, ear cleaning & basic health
check.
Dogs entering the salon carrying fleas and or ticks will be treated immediately, to lessen the risk of transmission to other dogs.
Frontline spray on arrival €5
Flea treatment bath €25 (unless otherwise stated)
Nail clipping for dogs only €10.00 (average size dog)
Prices will vary depending on the breed of dog, the specified style & the condition of their coat. When you call for an appointment Susan will give you a guide price, which is for a dog that conforms to the following:

Additional charges may apply for:
- Non-standard breed size and / or coat
- Matted coats
- Trimming beyond standard for breed
- Non co-operative behaviour when being handled
- Aggressive behaviour
As a professional groomer Susan does NOT believe in:
- Causing pain & stress to a dog or to herself as the groomer, by trying to dematt an excessively matted coat. We will offer a clip off & start again option.

Grooming for Agressive Dogs
Posh Pets works closely with the Riverview Veterinary group, this allows Susan the opportunity to groom the very aggressive dogs that are too dangerous for other groomers to even attempt.
This is only possible while the dog is under sedation.
The vets at Riverview in Bandon along with Susan will assess the aggression level of each dog before deciding if the dog is a suitable candidate for sedation or not.
Only dogs that have an extreme level of aggression will be suitable for this option. Otherwise the use of a nylon mesh muzzle may be sufficient.
Always let your groomer know if your dog has aggressive tendencies, this could help prevent any unnecessary stress for the dog and the groomer.
